These unique necklaces are made from leftover pieces of Oppdal slate, which is what the new National Museum is built from. You now have the opportunity to buy a small piece of the museum – and a necklace that will last for years to come.

The slate pieces have a rough, unpolished and edgy expression, and this robust stone has a fair bit of quartz mixed in which gives it a wonderful, subtle sparkle. Every single piece is unique, and if you happen to visit the museum's gift shop you can pick out your favorite. If you order online, we will pick one for you – but we promise that all of the slate pieces are equally pretty!
